I spilled iced coffee on the island in our kitchen…?

I tripped and hit the cup… it spilled all over the tile floor and wood cabinets. I immediatly cleaned it with dry towels, then hot water. I then mopped the floor and used cleaner on the wood. I thought I had did a good job cleaning but this morning I woke up and there are some streaks that look like drips on one of the cabinets? Looks almost as if the coffee took the stain off of them. Is there a way to clean this off? If so how and if not, is it an easy fix? (Like just re-staining that cabinet?) Thank you!

I’m Ken with The Home Depot. Let’s see how we can help you.You can go over the wood cabinets with “Murphy’s” oil soap. This is a great cleaner for wood. If that doesn’t clean up your streaks, move on and use the “Howard Restor -a- finish.” This product is absolutely wonderful for putting a new look on wood. You didn’t mention what type of cleaner you used on the wood as this may be one cause for the streaking. I hope this helps resolve your cabinets’ finish.
