i am about four weeks pregnant and i would like to know if it is ok to drink celestial seasonings tea?
it contains chamomile, tilia estella, valerian root, spearmint, west indian lemon grass, hawthorn and orange blossoms…is it ok if i drink just a cup to go to sleep at night?
im having trouble sleeping tho and i dont know what i can do so i can sleep…by the way this is my first baby and im so nervous…if anybody has any advice or anything just let me know…email. me at amanda_kirkbride@yahoo.com…what are some ways that i can get to sleep without using the tea…until i go see my doctor on monday
I’m pretty sure you have to avoid chamomile for the first trimester at least. Find yourself a qualified herbalist and take the product along for him/her to see. It’s honestly not worth asking us here as some herbs are abortifacients and cause early miscarriage. To help you sleep, you can put drops of lavender oil on your pillow. I have a lavender balm that I rub under my nose (very sexy!) that helps me drop off and is totally safe.
