What is the best way to make coffee with Lab Glassware?
I just got a whole lot of brand new glassware for free. Besides using the glass for my actual lab, I have always wanted to make coffee with the glassware. Anyone know the best way to do that? I’ve always seen it portrayed in old movies with either coffee or tea.
It’s my own personal lab and I don’t have an vapors in it that are harmful.
There are lots of ways to make coffee at home, that’s why I’m asking how they do it with lab glassware
Mix 2 tablespoons of drip ground coffee with 500 ml of boiling water in a beaker. Stir for 5 minutes and pour through a filter funnel with a Whatman #3 filter paper. A heated funnel is better but a standard glass funnel will work fine. The coffee that comes through the filter will be as good as can be made with any coffee maker on the market.
