Help! I have a 42 cup GE coffee urn and can’t find information on how much coffee to use when brewing. Anyone?
I want to make the full 42 cups. How many cups of ground coffee to I put in the basket? Thanks!
Most cans of coffee recommend 1 Tbsp per 6oz cup. If you have 42 cups, that is 42 Tbsp, or about 5.5 cups of ground coffee. I would go with about 6 cups, or maybe even 6.5. You can dilute slightly strong coffee; you can’t make weak coffee stronger.
