Living room, family room, entertainment room, den; your main room may go by a variety different names. Several styles of coffee tables reflect different functions and personalities. A leather coffee table, for example may not be ideal for holding drinks or snacks, but decoratively speaking, a leather coffee table can add a sophisticated sportsman feel to a room. Often chosen in dark tones such as espresso or black, this style coffee table pairs nicely with leather and microfiber furniture or as an accent to bold color choices like red. Decorative and functional, these tables are elegant and beautiful. Ornate yet useable, these tables offer a sturdy base, allowing for places to set a vase of flowers or perhaps a decanter of wine. Unlike its wooden counterpart, glass table tops are fragile and cannot bear too much weight, but the beauty and elegance they offer a room brings classic styles to life.
Regardless of the function of the entertainment/family/living room in your home, chances are it is the main room people see when they enter your home. Choosing the coffee table to fit your home’s style will give your main room the function and focal point necessary to bring the style of your home together.
