how often can you drink pau d’arco tea?
(safety question)
I REALLY like the flavour of this tea, but I know it’s largely used therapeutically. Is it safe to drink several glasses on a daily and ongoing basis?
For the record, I have trouble drinking enough water, because it makes me feel nauseous, and gives me reflux, especially when drunk on an empty stomach. I’m looking for an alternative to plain water.
I’ve been using PURE cranberry juice very diluted in water, but it’s just too costly at $13 per bottle every 5-7 days. I’ve also added effervescent flavoured vitamin C tablet which is also nice, but too expensive.
I don’t want to use something like Crystal Light because of the additives. I figured a herbal tea would be a nice alternative and would like something with its own “sweetish” flavour without having add sugar, sweetener, or honey, etc. Can’t drink mint tea unless it’s very weak and ideally in a blend, as it give me acid reflux (and the menthol effect makes me sneeze!)
TIA!
You like the flavor, huh? That is different. It is recommended to drink four cups daily for yeast overgrowth. So you can drink at least that much with no problems. Pau d’ Arco is one of the herbs that you can take on a regular basis.. It is most often used for viruses, skin conditions, and as a blood cleanser.
