How do i factory restore my laptop without recovery disks?

I have a Compaq Presario R3000 and i want to factory restore it. I tried system restore but it wont let me cause i have no restore points. It works for a little bit in safe mode before crashing. But i’m tired of it and i want to start fresh. So is it possible to factory restore my laptop without the disks?

maybe you can remove the battery and hold the on button for a minute to clear the processor, then reinstall the battery and turn it on and hit control .. f-10 continually…maybe it’ll get to the recovery…
