Babylock Ellure BLR – Machine Embroidery Stitching Problem?
Hello everyone, I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I’m having.
I just bought a Babylock Ellure BLR, and I’m just learning how to use it. The machine came with a couple of designs already sewn onto fabric, like for an example. When I try to do the same design, the stitches aren’t really that tight together when I try doing the same design. You can see small gaps in between each stitch.
I’m stitching on 100% cotton fabric with a tearaway stabilizer with polyster embroidery thread.
I tried putting 2 sheets of stabilizer but it only helps a little bit.
Also, I’m using a 70/11 ball point needle.
Please Help!
Teri
Hi Teri,
I would try using another layer of stabilizer, sometimes we need a few more pieces of stabilizer they we think. If the fabric is thin, then more stabilizer is usually needed. Another thought would be use a 70/11 sharp instead of a ball point needle. It takes alittle time, to learn this stuff. Don’t give up, embroidery can be alot of fun. Enjoy
