trying to lose weight …am i drinking too much coffee with flavored cream?
I love my coffee, but I love that nestle’s flavored cream ( liquid). Thats probably a big reason why I am struggling to lose weight, cause I drink a cup or two in the morning and then in the afternoon, I usually drink another. Other than that all i usually drink is water (between 2-4 bottles a day). I usually don’t measure the cream I put in the coffee, but today I did…..and I use like double or triple the serving size and each serving size is 35 cal and 1.5 fat grams! My question is…when i feel tired in the afternoon….How do I keep from grabbing a cup of coffee?? It’s almost like an addiction!! I have cut way back on the coffee. I use to drink 5-7 cups a day. Any tips on weight loss or coffee will be appreciated……
Coffee is an addiction, so watch your intake. Get used to good decaf, a good brand that tastes good, but a cup of strong coffee in the afternoon is a long tradition to perk you up when your body is telling you to take a nap.
I have found that you can replace the sugar in the flavored additives with some raw cocoa powder and a couple of Equals. If it must be creamy, add some no fat half and half. Ween yourself off the cream and enjoy the cocoa and artificial sweetener.
