need advice on removing tear stains off my Bichon Frise Dog?

One eye is staining quite bad. Ive tried all the wipes but they dont seem to work. ive recently just been told about a product called Angels Eyes has anyone tried it?

My friend has a 2 yr Bichon with the worst eye staining I’ve seen – seemed like all the area between her eyes & mouth was dark brown. It was so bad, that my friend didn’t even both to wipe her eyes each day. Then she started giving her Angel Glow and the dog looks like a different dog. No dark stains. I understand that Angel Glow & Angel Eyes are very similar products, but Angel Eyes may be a little better for the dog because it has less ingredients (chemicals?).

The staining may be worse when the puppy is teething. More natural things I’ve read is to use bottled water, rather than from the tap. Another is to add a couple drops of organic cider vinegar to the water dish. Wipe the eyes every morning at a minimum w/a white wash cloth. Also, I’ve read that kibble w certain foods like beets may cause it……lots of different food ideas.

I believe some of it is genetic. My 2 yr dog has a light problem with staining and the 1 yr old I just got has no staining what-so-ever. Another friend has two bichons from 2 dif breeders; one has staining, the other doesn’t. Like my dogs, they eat the same food & drink the same water!

I’m considering Angel Eyes for my 2 yr, so I’m interested in reading the feedback you receive.
