How can I develop new strategies to improve my teams performance in sales ?
I work in sales and I have 5 reps that are always low in retention. . There job is to talk to the customer into keeping the service.
Need satisfaction sales. You need to establish what a customer needs AND why it is important to them. Then you can support that need. Your customers either comes to you with skepticism, misunderstanding or a drawback. Through features and benefits of your service you over come the problem. Practice/Role play: Why did an employee buy the particular watch on their wrist? Have them explain its features and then the benefit of those feature to them. What was it they needed and how did the features and benefits of that particular watch support that need. Apply this to your company.. 1st Build rapport – put the customer at ease (they are expecting a hard time in your line of work) 2nd Opening – While I work on your request, may I ask you a few question on your overall experience with our company, this will allow us to better serve you and other customers in the future. 3rd Probe – Question to find what their need is and why it is important. 4th Support – Acknowledge their need/s and utilize the features and benefits of the provided service to support those needs. 5th Close – review accepted benefits, propose a plan and check for their acceptance.
