Can I get the smell/taste of dead (boiled) ants out of my kettle? Or do I need to buy a new one?
I’ve tried bi-carb (baking) soda and also a kettle descaler – to no effect. My coffee / tea STILL tastes like ants!!!
Um, you better buy a new pot. You may never get over that yucky feeling of drinking from the one you have now. Every time you drink from that pot you will think of the ants. EW! You know what I mean. Start fresh and = save this one for emergency or something.
