How many chocolate covered espresso beans equal one cup of coffee?
They are so addicting, but now im wondering if I eat them like M&Ms am i going to bounce off walls?
They are so good! I’m not sure about the actual amount of caffeine in them, it may be listed on the package somewhere. There have been times when I’ve eaten quite a few in one sitting and it never affected me from what I can tell, and I’m not a coffee drinker. But apparently there is actually more caffeine in the chocolate than in the espresso bean. It takes around thirty beans to make a single espresso, but most of the caffeine is released from the grinding, so by chewing them, you will never release that much caffeine. Also when you drink a liquid espresso, the liquid is released into the bloodstream more quickly, letting more of the caffeine into the bloodstream than the espresso beans would.
Just don’t eat them too close to when you are going to bed and see how they affect you. I think you’ll be fine, though.
