He shows all the signs….?
My almost two year old shows all the signs that he is ready to start potty training, he knows when he is wet, he tells you he has to go if he doesn’t have a diaper on, he will sit on his potty, he knows when he is going to go #2. BUT…. he will not go in the potty, he refuses, if he is not wearing a diaper and he needs to go he will bring me a diaper, if I put him on the potty when he says he needs to go, he screams like I am hurting him and gets up and runs off, then pees in the floor. What do I do? I have never potty trained before, I have done the cheerios thing, even tried the reward thing. I have even tried the outside thing, and the tin coffee can thing. Please am I forgetting a sign or something?
Oh and he hardly wets his diaper at night anymore.
he might not like the potty get him a seat that goes on the big boy toilet and a step take him to the bathroom when u go for a wee just to let him no there’s nothing wrong with going on it he should soon want to get on there and give it a go good luck
