Can I use a coffee maker to brew loose leaf tea?
I’ve heard that a french press can steep and brew both, but are there any other devices that can do the same? What about a basic drip coffeemaker like Mr. coffee?

Anyway, I have brewed tea in bags in a coffee maker. But I have not tried loose leaf. Usually loose leaf tea has not been processed like tea bags. And loose leaf tea is usually a whole leaf. You can try it but make sure you use a filter or tea balls so the leaves have room to uncurl and release all the tea flavor. The second site has all the answers for tea. And it does say you can make loose leaf tea in a coffee maker. Check it out and give it a try!
