There are ants in my house?
I was in the kitchen yesterday about to feed my dog and I saw a huge trail of ants in my dog’s bowel. I sprayed white vinegar on them and most died and some ran somewhere I don’t know where they came from. I figured that was the last of the ants until today when I went to drink some coffee in my kitchen and I saw another trail of ants on my stove trying to find food. There were about 10 ants in my sugar container. There’s a lid on it but I guess it wasn’t tight enough. I tried to figure out where the ants came from, again and I think it might be from the hole in our wall where we had to cut to get to a cable. It’s up higher on my wall though. Yesterday though the ants didn’t come from that. At least I don’t think.
But I’m afraid that tomorrow there will be ants again and they will come closer to the living room and become intelligent on where to hide and come from. What should I do to prevent them? I really don’t want to use poison…
Boriac acid comes in powder form and can be found in the pest control products at your local super market. Just spread the powder along the edge of your cabinets and across the door way. The ants will get it on their legs and when they lick it off, the acid will destroy them.
