The Rise of Espresso Coffee – The World Second Most Addictive Drink
Espresso coffee is a very common drink widely served in restaurants and cafes around the world. Espresso cafes can be found effortlessly in any cultured place without having to drain your wallet. Preparing espresso:
Get an espresso machine first. You will need to fill up the water reservoir of the machine with clean cold water. For each cup, you need a heaping spoonful of ground coffee. It is best to grind beans at home that will confer the best flavor and taste. Use a top quality burr grinder for fine grinding. Now place the coffee inside the filter holder. Then cram it firmly to ensure that the grounds are uniformly distributed. Now, push out the loose grounds before putting the filter back in the machine. Toppings:
Whipped toppings make the best garnishing for espressos. You can make them at home from heavy or whipped cream by adding desirable flavors to it. Since the beverage is already semi liquid in form with lots of froth, you can choose to add original, fat free, extra creamy chocolate cream for milk lovers or soy milk whipped topping for milk allergy people. Rice milk can also be served instead of pure milk toppings for low calorie, tasty topping.
Style of serving:
An espresso cup should contain exactly 30ml or 1 ounce of drink. Use the best espresso cups that are double layered to prevent the heat from escaping, thus keeping the drink hotter for long. Use cups that look cute, yet elegant and classic.
Serve it hot with crispy sugary snacks or bonbons for a completely delightful drink.
The final tip about preparing a genuine cup of espresso is to make it with high quality beans that are specially grown for espresso drinks. The grinding technique also determines the flavor of the coffee to a large extent. Remember to brew the coffee immediately after grinding, as the beans tend to lose their flavor in the exposed air.
