Coffee Filter/Terminal velocity experiment…HELP?
So…I know that 1 coffee filter’s terminal velocity should be about .8m/s and that of 4 coffee filters should be about 1.6m/s…but what about 2 and 3 coffee filters?
I have no way of knowing whether my results are correct for 2 and 3 coffee filters…
do any of you have any idea, or have you done the experiment yourself?

The force due to air goes up as the square of the velocity, so assuming that the surface area of 1 coffee filter is the same as 2, 3, or 4 filters. Then I would expect the following
1 .8m/s
2 1.13 m/s
3 1.39 m/s
4 1.6 m/s
