Are Chinese dishes safe to eat on?
With all the toys that are being recalled becuase of the led paint ; I was woundering about the plates and coffee cups that we eat off , that we nuke to warm up our food . What is this paint doing to us ?
Well, since the lead paint issue, there are issues in china from China. They may contain the lead paint. If you’re eating off of it all the time, then it isn’t safe, but if it’s for decoration, then it’s ok. There is a lead test kit you can get at the store where you rub it on things you suspect contains lead paint. If it shows up pink, it has lead on it.

If you’re very concerned, you can always talk to your Dr. about getting a blood lead test.
