How long to do keep you coffee around?
… before you throw it out and make another pot? Is it acceptable to re-heat coffee thats 3 hours old? 6 hours old? 12 hours old? 24 hours? What do you think?
If it matters, the coffee maker pours into thermos carafe, so it doesn’t have a heating burner at the bottom, thus making the coffee burnt and bitter..
PS – I’m drinking FRESH brewed coffee at the moment!
I’m not going to wax poetic on the intricacies of coffee sustainability. There is a fine line between the want and need for it. If you want to enjoy it, chuck the old and make new. If you need it, slosh it over some ice in a 32oz. styrofoam gas station cup, top it off with a straw and get yourass to work.
