Can a mix of heavy cream and water substitute milk in a coffee cake recipe?
I want to make a coffee cake and it calls for half cup of milk, but i don’t have any. Can i substitute a mix of heavy cream and water?
Sure, for the 1/2 cup that would be fine. In fact, you could probably forget the water and just use the heavy cream for a richer taste.
