Cuisinart Grind and Brew?

Ok.. I have this coffee maker and I actually hate it. Steam escapes up into the coffee grinder and makes the beans wet. Its ridiculous. YOu have to clean out the grinding compartment after every pot because of this. Now I have a moldy smell in the coffee maker because I assume steam has accumulated in an area I cant reach to clean. Any one else have this problem. Is there anyway to clean this out so I can use the maker again until I can afford a much better maker?

i have the same machine but i love it. you do have to clean it every time though, if you havent been doing that, its probably too late. all grinding coffee makers are like that, they are expensive and need frequent maintenance, but worth it to me, the coffee tastes sooo much better.
