Will the lockout hurt teams that have made big changes, particularly coaching, in the offseason?
The NFL has told teams to not meet with players…
but some teams have new quarterbacks or new coaches… and they won’t be able to prepare at all until the lockout ends…
I mean imagine if it ends in the middle of August and they have 2 weeks to set up an entire offense from scratch?

If your asking if only having two weeks to set up a new offense will hurt the team, the answer is yes. The level of damage it does depends on the difficulty of the offensive schemes. For instance the Bears had 3 months to learn the ridiculous playbook Martz had set up, but many players didn’t even know it by the time the season started. However the offense they had with Ron Turner seemed pretty easy and I believe they could have had at least a basic idea of what was going on in 2 weeks. They still wouldn’t be ready to play a game, but they would be a hell of a lot closer than they would be with Martz.
