What kind of tea kettle should i use with a electric ceramic stove top?
The ceramic top is the smooth flat stove top. (For those that don’t know.)There are no coils. I’m worried about scratching the stove top and also of course about melting the tea kettle or something like that.
Any will work. I have a Revere with a copper bottom, and have never had a problem with it. Hope this helps.
EDIT: It’s unlikely that a tea kettle will scratch a ceramic top. They are pretty durable. The stove won’t get hot enough to melt metal. I really like my stove. One word of caution, though. If you spill any sugar, be sure to clean it up before you use the stove again or it may cause pitting. Good luck.
