Bubble tea?
I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make bubble tea w/o the machine… more like the traditional way.
What ingredients would you need and how would you do it?
I’m quite anxious to know. ^^
Oh yeah, there are plenty of ways, but you’ll need the boba pearls yourself, the ones BEFORE they’re turned into the jelly.
Boil the pearls for about 20 mintues, depends on brand (They’ll give you more exact times on the package). Drain them, and then put them in a mixture of sugar and water.
Let them sit for about 5 mintues, and a jelly coating should form on them. When this happens, its time to scoop the jelly away from MOST of the excess Sugar mixture,a nd you have the pearls.
And as for the drink itself, its just really dark black tea with milk, usually the mocha mix coffee creamer you can get at your local grocery store.
Personally, i like fruit slushes. no not the stuff made out of the “syrups” you find at the trendy asian places, REAL fruit slushes and smoothies.
YOu can eaisly make it just like any other smoothie, but this ones my favorite:
