How sick could I get?
Every Friday I make myself a cappuccino using Hills Bros powder mix. This morning I grabbed my thermos and discovered I had not cleaned it from last use. The bottom looked gross and smelled bad…I ran it under hot water for a while and dried it with a few paper towels. It looked clean, but I’m sure there was still some bacteria left. After cleaning it, I filled it with new cappuccino and drank it. Now I don’t have the best immune system in the world. I don’t really get sick extremely often, but when I do, it usually lasts a while and the illness is usually pretty bad.
more than likely, you will be okay
good luck, and keep your thermos clean, if this happens again, mist the thermos with alcohol then rinse thoroughly before putting more drink in it
