How do you brew tea using dried tea leaves? What’s the best cooking pot to use?
I’m especially interested in brewing tea “British style”, but using Chinese dried tea leaves. I’d like to use just an ordinary small pot (stainless steel) until I can get me a teapot which can be put on top of the stove (?)
Have You a french press coffee Jug? Strictly speaking,You use freshly boiled water for tea.the press Jug would work ok til You get the teapot. the brewed tea leaves in the open stove top pot You mention would get messy,and nobody likes chewing tealeaves..otherwise,You’d need a tea strainer when pouring,which the teapot should have built in.
Measure the tea into the pot-a teaspoon per person-pour on the boiling water,and let it stand for a few minutes to brew.
