Why is it that when I brew coffee at home it has a disgusting smell that permeates the house?
It doesn’t even smell like coffee. My parents coffee at their house has a gross odor too and has for years. Is it the water? Because I make it at work all the time and it smells fine.
Hmmm, maybe it is the water. I was gonna suggest you clean your coffee maker. You can do it with vinegar. Why not try some bottled water in your coffee maker next time, and if that doesn’t fix the problem, then clean your coffee maker. That way you’ll know which one worked if either one do. You might also want to switch to a new brand of coffee or a different brew/type at least. I love the smell of coffee! Nothin’ should wreck that glorious smell! Good luck to ya.
