Anyone know how to make a mug full of coffee with a Keurig?
Even if I select the tallest choice it still barely fills my coffee mug. My husband likes to take a travel mug to work and he ends up using 2 k-kups to fill the thing. He likes bolder coffee too, so running water through twice isn’t an option. Just wondered if anyone else had any suggestions out there on how to make a bigger cup. I can’t believe Keurig didn’t think of this when designing the machine. Otherwise it’s perfect!!
I think they do that on purpose, so that you don’t get a diluted or bitter cup of coffee. If you over-extract coffee by running too much water through it, you end up extracting a lot of the bitterness from the beans, so you end up with a more bitter cup of coffee. What your husband is doing now is correct. If you need that much coffee in the morning, then you SHOULD use two K-Cups.
