How much coffee grounds should I use for an 8 oz cup in French Press?
I’ve been having trouble with this for a while. For Christmas I got a Bodum French Press, but I haven’t been able to get the hang of how much coffee grounds to use with it. My coffee cups are 8 oz, and I’ve been grinding my beans at a coarse grind like they recommend for a French Press. So far, all my cups have turned out too weak, barely more flavorful than water. I’d like to make just a normal cup, maybe a little strong (remember, these are 8 oz cups). If somebody could help me out with this, I’d appreciate it.
1 heaped tea spoon but when you are making it coarse you must adjust you machine to boil for a little longer or release the steam slower. Try auto and you man get a good result.
