Controls flew propane stove?
Today I turned our propane stove to heat water in a teapot. The fire was orange instead of blue and a few minutes later blew the heater controls. What causes this? Have you ever seen this?
Orange flame indicates that the air burner fuel mixture is off. This does not usually happen by itself. I imagine that something has caused the fuel supply pressure for the replacement device. You may be low on propane gas or failed component. If the propane tank is not empty, you will have to call a technician to look at it. It will use a tool very specialist called a gauge to accurately measure fuel pressure in the apparatus and diagnose the cause for you. This is not a DIY situation.
