What is a good one-cup coffee maker for my fresh ground coffee?
I’m looking for:
- under $100
- hot plate to keep the mug warm
- small enough for my desk
- visible water level would be nice too
- auto shut off
- available in North America
- not, not, not, for coffee pods, as I like my own favourite that is environmentally friendly because it doesn’t require the plastic packaging (how wasteful).

This brewer is a single cup Keurig, but you can use your own coffee! Just get one of the filter baskets http://bit.ly/MyKcup and you are all set. It has all of what you want, with the exception of the warmer. The warmer is not a good idea anyway! Artificially warming your brew will cause it to boil it down and give your coffee a burnt taste. Use a thermal mug
