Who makes a good quality (auto-drip) coffee maker?
My sweetie wants to get a new machine. Who makes a decent coffee maker? Probably a 4 or 10 cup model with an auto-shutoff timer. Something without teflon on it would be preferred, with the new awareness that it can cause cancer (right?).
The teflon is on the model we are currently using. When the coffee spilled on the heater plate, it caused the teflon to corrode and chip, and I would prefer to drink coffee, not teflon chips! 
Whatever you get don’t buy a Hamilton Beach Brew Station. They’re junk. Mine lasted a whole month before it started leaking. The coffee comes through the filter, runs out the spout and all over my counter top. I’ve had electric can openers that have lasted longer than this thing. Even my Mr. Coffee last about five months. I’m going back to the old-fashioned way of making it on the stove. I’m tired of being ripped off.
