Uses for a ton of stale loose-leaf tea?
A friend of mine runs a tea shop and has at least 80 lbs of a black tea which was quite nice in its day, four years ago, but today is loosing its oomph. It’s an Assam and still has some nice maltiness to it, but the aromatic parts of its flavor have all evaporated away. Any ideas for what it could be used for? Any recipes, or idea for places that would buy a lot of staleish tea? Maybe it could be used for a lot of kombucha? Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
Well, this is a little strange, but my grandmother used to “antique” our white linen dresses with tea. This might get your wheels turning.
