Why do so many people think Apple heads are Deer heads?
Apple Head (Dome) are just that an Apple Head. A Deer Head is a longer nosed smaller eye set. Body size has nothing to do with head shape? A Apple Head is a round dome type head wider eye set. Sizing such as Tea, Toy, Standard…or now a newer type is called a blue has nothing to do with head shape. People please quit trying to sell these tiny little precious animals as something they are truely not! A non registered chi should never sell for more than $400.00 for males and $350.00 for females. Registered chis will sell for much more depending on there bloodlines and sizing. I wish people would educate themselves better before they look so stupid.
According to the standard there is no such thing as either ‘apple head’ or ‘deer head’. The standard has a description stating ”
A well rounded “apple dome” skull, with or without molera.” ‘Apple head’ is not a TYPE of Chihuahua.
Registration means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Many many badly bred dogs are registered.
