airpot coffee
how much ground coffee should be used for a 2.5. liter airpot?

2.5 is about 14- 6oz cups of coffee. The standard measure is 2 tbsp (10g/3.6oz) of coffee grounds for each 6oz of water. This adds up to 1/4 cup plus 2tbsp coffee grounds. Add an extra 6oz of water over the amount of coffee you’re making, as it will be lost to the grounds and you’ll end up slightly short when transferring.

If you want the coffee to stay hot in the airpot longer, dump some hot water in while you’re brewing to preheat it. This will keep your coffee from cooling down as soon as you pour it in.
